Hoya imperialis is a early bloomer and it produce some of the largest individual flowers of the Hoya group. It has amazing smell especially in the evening. It gets spectacular pink flowers with white corona when mature. This is a large vine compared with other Hoyas. The leaves are green with wavy edges .
Most Hoya does not like to dry out, but doesn't like to have too wet soil– keep medium slightly damp. They also do not like to be moved around too much. Keep the plant at where it is once they are happy with where they are. They prefer bright shade and medium humidity. Most Hoya serves well as a hanging plant but there is no rules to say that they cannot look just as good to be in a non hanging form too. Be creative with the display.
