$38.00

Dischidia nummularia ‘Ideaminubu’ is very distinctive cultivar of the String of Nickels. This plant has tightly grown, concaved leaves that earn it the nickname Green Dragon and make it look like stiff string of bubbles. It is crucial to keep this plant in a well-ventilated spot to prevent overwatering.

Dischidia is a genus of mostly succulent, epiphytic vines in the Apocynaceae family. They are closely related to Hoyas, however their flowers are generally quite small, although some of them are also fragrant like Hoyas. They are found distributed throughout tropical Asia and so are very suitable for growing in our climate. Dischidias tend to enjoy quite bright, indirect light to some direct light. As they are succulent, you can afford to water less frequently then other vining plants. Feel free to trim the vines to the desired length when overgrown.
