The variegated Sansevieria masoniana is an artistic twist to the widely loved Whale Fin Snake Plant. The yellow variegation appears in longitudinal stripes of varying thickness along the leaf, making every leaf that emerges unique. Wider bands of green retain the mottling that is reminiscent of ripples on water. This is a simple, yet interesting addition to any interior.
Sansevieria is a previously recognized genus of plants that has recently been absorbed into the Dracaena genus. They are commonly referred to as Snake Plants and are one of the hardiest and easy-to-grow houseplants on the market. Snake plants generally have similar care, tolerating a range of lighting conditions and able to go weeks without water. They also have air-purifying traits and come in many beautiful cultivars and sizes.
