Dischidia is a genus of plants in the family Apocynaceae. They are epiphytes native to tropical areas of China, India and most areas of Indo-China. Dischidia are closely aligned with the sister genus Hoya.
A climbing vine that has many thin, twining branches. Their leaves are opposite, and some foliage is small, greyish-green, and oval. They also have food storage leaves that are larger, and kidney shaped. These blooms are shaped like water pitchers, and occur in the leaf axils.
Dischidia species like a more humid and better ventilated environment. Keep the plant in a bright shade area. They can take a couple of hours direct sunlight if only they are well watered. Avoid overly windy environment to avoid the plants from drying out too quickly.
