Sansevieria francisii is a compact herbaceous perennial leaf-succulent that elongates and sends down pandanus-like walking legs (stolons). It is hardy, drought tolerant and low maintenance air purifier houseplant for shade areas, it does not require to be fed or watered frequently and does exceedingly well in poor light indoor conditions. It however can also adapt well to various light condition.
Sansevieria is a genus of about 70 species of flowering plants, native to Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia. Common names include mother-in-law's tongue.
