Sansevieria francisii
is a compact herbaceous perennial leaf-succulent that elongates and sends down pandanus-like walking legs (stolons).  It is hardy, drought tolerant and low maintenance air purifier houseplant for shade areas, it does not require to be fed or watered frequently and does exceedingly well in poor light indoor conditions. It however can also adapt well to various light condition. 

Sansevieria is a genus of about 70 species of flowering plants, native to Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia. Common names include mother-in-law's tongue. It is hardy, drought tolerant and low maintenance air purifier houseplant for shade areas, it does not require to be fed or watered frequently and does fine in lower light indoor conditions. It can also adapt well to various light condition such as bright shade to bright direct environment. Watering for bright shade to bright condition is about one to twice a week. They achieve best colouration in a bright shade environment. And watering for shade environment is once a week or once fortnightly. Always allow the soil to dried out for a couple of days before the next watering.  

Sansevieria are commonly known to be a good air purifier which are capable to clean several types of airborne pollutants. It is also a Feng Shui luck bringer beside being a specialist air purifier that removes benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene and toluene from the air.
