Pachypodium succulentum in Zen bonsai pot
Pachypodium succulentum is a member of the family Apocynaceae native to the Cape Provinces and the Free State province of South Africa. Pachypodium means ‘thick foot', referring to the large, swollen caudiciform stems all members of this genus have. And Pachypodium succulentum is a slow-growing caudiciform succulent with a large and slender branches below leaves and slender acute stipular spines. This is a premium collector plant for caudex lovers.
Pachypodium require bright sun and good drainage soil. Allow the soil to dried out for couple of days before the next watering.
