Unlike most orchids which are grown for the beautiful shapes, colors and scents of their exotic flowers. Ludisia discolor is more interesting via its foilage appeal.
Although it does flower, the main draw is still the stunning foliage this plant produces. They are more terrestrial orchid which means that Ludisia orchids grow on land. So in nature they grow in soil on the forest floor.
They are fine with low light or bright shade. Watering between moist soil is fine.
