Fockea edulis bonsai in Zen balinese pot
Fockea edulis an easy-to-grow caudiciform plant. They have a interesting fat tuber and it produces thin branches with leaves that can climb on any type of available supports. Their leaves are small, oval and green. For the form to grow; you can grow branches and leave it hanging out and down from the pot. You can also trim the leaves and branches so as to maintain the canopy of leaves to look more of a tree like bonsai look as well. The current product is maintain for a more bonsai style.
The current product is a established plant with roots below its tuber is planted in an interesting Zen balinese pot. It even has a cool looking black coloured "bird" sitting on the edge of the pot. The good part about this "bird" is that you don't have to feed it and it will always sit quietly on the pot edge to accompany the plant in its grow.
The plant can take regular watering of 2-3 times a week in a well drainage soil. Soil is fine to maintain a little moist in between watering for this plant and they will prefer a bright shade or bright with a little morning sun environment.
