Anthurium crystallinum is a striking plant with elongated heart-shaped, velvet-looking green leaves with a contrasting shimmering veining that is quite typical of some Anthuriums. The leaves are thinner than Anthurium clarinervium and not stiff.
Anthurium is the largest genus in the Araceae family, commonly referred to as the Aroid family. Originating from northern Mexico down to northern Argentina, Anthuriums can be terrestrial or epiphytic, ranging in form as well. Some have been cultivated for years for their beautiful flowers, which can come in deep shades of red to white. Now, Anthuriums are highly sought after for their wide-ranging foliage.
Our Anthurium crystallinum comes potted in our Tropical Rainforest Epiphytic Potting Mix and in a tall forest green pot with saucer chosen especially for Anthuriums’ deep reaching roots.
