Aglaonema ‘Silver’ stands out because it has blue-silver coloration on the leaves. The rest of the plant is a pale light green. This unique color makes it an interesting choice for the interior.
Aglaonema is a genus in the family, Araceae, commonly referred to as the Aroid family. They are generally found along the forest floor in Asia and New Guinea. Because of this, they are naturally adapted to low light conditions and have been cultivated for centuries as indoor plants.
Through years of selective breeding and hybridizing, many stunning cultivars of Aglaonemas exist on the market. They are one of the easiest plants to care for and are adapted to low-light interiors while still able to thrive outdoors. We recommend using our Tropical Rainforest Ground Potting Mix to mimic the natural habitat of Aglaonemas. Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering and feed with a balanced fertilizer.
