Dischidia ruscifolia Variegata (Variegated Million Hearts)
Dischidia ruscifolia is also referred to as Million Hearts because of its many heart-shape like leaves. This is another best-seller as the vines are both wild and yet elegant at the same time. The tiny leaves have cream variegation along the margin, and along some vines, the leaves appear completely white, adding another dimension to this beautiful hanging plant.
Dischidia is a genus of mostly succulent, epiphytic vines in the Apocynaceae family. They are closely related to Hoyas, however their flowers are generally quite small, although some of them are also fragrant like Hoyas. They are found distributed throughout tropical Asia and so are very suitable for growing in our climate. Dischidias tend to enjoy quite bright, indirect light to some direct light. As they are succulent, you can afford to water less frequently then other vining plants. Feel free to trim the vines to the desired length when overgrown.
The product comes draping over the sides of a white plastic hanging pot. You can also chose variant options of Variegated million hearts sitting in wicker hanging or Variegated million hearts sitting in white ceramic pot with wooden stand.
