Sansevieria Bantel's Sensation

Named after the man who developed this plant – Gustav Bantel – it is a unique cultivar of the sansevieria trifasciata. Although this particular sansevieria was developed in a nursery, its parent plant is native to the tropical regions of western Africa. Rare and unusual, sansevieria Bantel’s Sensation has distinctive white vertical striping in the leaves and is sometimes called White Sansevieria.

Sansevieria is a previously recognized genus of plants that has recently been absorbed into the Dracaena genus. They are commonly referred to as Snake Plants and are one of the hardiest and easy-to-grow houseplants on the market. Snake plants generally have similar care, tolerating a range of lighting conditions and able to go weeks without water. They also have air-purifying traits and come in many beautiful cultivars and sizes.
